How long have you been with SWO? Over a year and a half
What has been your career progression thus far?: I started out assisting customers in the San Francisco Bay Area and have since transitioned to cover Houston and Dallas customers. I took a leadership role in June to become the South Central Senior Inside Sales Executive.
Favorite part about working at SWO: The culture. I feel like I am a part of a family. Everyone is willing to help and cares about one another.
Biggest challenge you’ve faced at SWO: Learning all of the acronyms. There are a lot of acronyms in this industry and it took a few months to get a good handle on them.
What is a typical day like for you? I start off the day with a cup of coffee. I talk with the two Texas Business Development Managers (BDM) about what’s on their plate for the day and seeing where I can help. There are then typically phone meetings with customers and providing the knowledge and resources customers need to make a decision for their environment. I work with my team to assist them in any way possible. Typically I eat lunch at the office sitting among my friends and colleagues. Customers also email me throughout the day for which I help with any requests they send in. I then go home to play with my dog and play softball.
What activities do you enjoy in your spare time? I enjoy anything competitive (sports, games, etc.). I like being outside doing things like yardwork, swimming, or just relaxing on my patio.
